Cafés, bakeries, dessert and drinks shops are often mainly takeaway with a few seats, and weekend afternoons are the busiest. Many accept Octopus, credit cards and e-wallets, and some run loyalty schemes or pre-orders; birthday cakes and festive boxes (mooncakes at Mid-Autumn, for example) usually need ordering in advance, a few days ahead on popular dates. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. There is no phone number yet; if the business has a website or social media page, try there, or use the Google Maps link on this page for the latest details.

Customers give it an average of 4.3 out of 5 on Google (321 reviews), a high score by any measure.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

CHAGEE at Lee Tung Avenue is a must-visit! I tried their Tie Guan Yin tea, and the natural orchid notes in it are absolutely amazing and unique. The tea is incredibly fragrant, refreshing, and high-quality. Highly recommend it to all tea lovers

We had heard so much about CHAGEE and were finally able to try it during our visit to Hong Kong. It definitely lived up to our expectations. The milk tea had a wonderful tea aroma, was smooth, well-balanced, and genuinely delicious. You could really taste the quality of the tea without it being overly sweet. Even though the shop was busy, the wait wasn’t too long, and the service was efficient. Overall, a great place for milk tea, and we can see why it’s so popular. We’ll definitely be back the next time we’re in Hong Kong.

🍵🍼DA HONG PAO MILK TEA When you are on a short trip🇸🇽 and want to cover many travel spots🙂, however, forget that you are with a group of girls🤣, that’s when you gotta stop at all the amazing places to eat and click photos😎🫠. This was how I found this CHAGEE🌝. So, until 3 weeks ago, I didn’t know about this brand😇. I was hanging out with my friend and his in-laws in BCG🇸🇽, while waiting for the bride and her friends😬. However, later we found they were just chilling in a tea store and that was CHAGEE🤔. Now, since I already entered the store and found it is not in Taiwan🤔, its a must that I should try a drink😊. I got the Dao Hong Pao Milk Tea🌝, as that’s what my friend recommended. Honestly, the tea was super delicious😋. It was rich in full cream milk and perfectly balanced with the Oolong tea🤭. Moreover, the fragrance was refreshing. The store had an excellent interior and a bunch of souvenirs😇. I really liked the design on the cup and the straw🥳. Straw was flat and unique, having 3 forged straws in one😬. Now, it’s one of my favorites, because what I found is it’s also one of the expensive Oolong tea grown in China🎏. Hoping someday I can have a chance to travel around China🌝

More than 5 stars tea qualities and 2 stories settings. Amazing huge place with contemporary designs. Very comfortable Chinese music. U can feel like sitting there forever. Menus was very interesting. I’ve ordered a tea latte 穀香焙茶拿鐵。the bar tender was so serious about every single ingredient. The milk tea wasn’t tasting like any ordinary tea, it’s with very special aroma and taste of tea. Great taste.
