This is the most amazing and interesting place to witness the Chinese tradition. Every year there are a few Chinese Seasons or events out of the 24 Seasons that the locals flock to ask the old ladies to use the old shoes or slippers to slap the names of your haters, betrayed, enemies, the third party of your love affairs and most importantly, potential competitors. So....after the ceremony...you will walk tall and be the winner. What you need to do is to pay the old ladies and they will keep on flapping the name(s ) that you have handed to her for 5 minutes / spicing with swears / grumbling some traditional insults hoping the named person(s) will be punished by not be able to use the hand , not be able to walk or /and not be able to talk or not be able to kiss... 90 % of the customers are female and they queue up till late in the evening to they pay the revenge. Must go and see...Great fun.
