About 海濱站

Two retired East Rail Line Mid-Life Refurbishment train cars (also known as "Fly Head" trains) donated by the MTR Corporation Limited are displayed at the newly available Phase 4 of the Precinct. The transformed train cars retain some of the original features for the public to reminisce about "Fly Head" trains in the past.

Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Quite the decent leisurely addition to the already scenic and peaceful promenade of wan Chai, featuring retired mtr cabins available for public access free of charge, air-conditioning is also provided inside along with seats and workable for relaxing right next to the stunning view of Victoria Harbour.

Cute MTR display on the water, featuring an old East Rail Line train car.

MTR station officially named "Harbour Station." It likely refers to either the Wan Chai Promenade/Waterfront Area in Hong Kong, featuring parks and walkways, or a temporary, thematic, or scenic spot, such as the railway installations at the Hong Kong Railway Museum , Great exhibition, perfect for all ages. Beautiful views from the train. If you're a train enthusiast or just somebody who grew up riding on these trains, it's worth visiting for the train alone, it's very well maintained !

One of many transformed areas mainly on the Island side into parks and promenades. 👌🏻 its a good project to make life more breathable in 🇭🇰 🙌🏻 this is near the Causeway Bay Typhoon Shelter, getting here needs some walking and some twist and turn path as a highway/main road cuts in between. It’s a very nice spot for relaxation and getting some cool 💨 👍🏻. The view of the night scene cross the harbour towards TST is great. Lots of ppl strolls and exercises here too. The highlight is the disused MTR train which serves a s a prop here (maybe for shelter when rains 🤔 😉)you are not allowed to eat inside the train just like in actual train as there is a lady guard there who will remind you 🤣 its a nice place and worth coming.

I| The landmark of Wan Chai for leisure & recreation. |I Since British colonial rule, Hong Kong has used the 12-car train, which is nicknamed 'fly-headed' due to its insect-like appearance. ① The west car at Harbour Station maintains most of its original seating, overhead support handles, and bars, creating a lively and comfy indoor environment for the general public to unwind. ② The east car has been transformed into multipurpose rooms that can be pre-booked for workshops, community activities, and other small organized gatherings. The general public can access these rooms when they are not in use. In the east car, there are movable tables, chairs, and dividers. ③ Both train cars' interiors have been relatively unchanged, maintaining their original walls, doors, digital displays, ceilings, lighting fixtures, and even the MTR decals and route maps of the East Rail Line. ④ The MLR was built in the 1980s and refurbished since the mid-1990s for the Kowloon-Canton Railway and the current East Rail Line. ⑤ It was parked at the Wan Chai Harbour front in Hong Kong, China, on December 20, 2023. As part of the Legacy Train Revitalisation Programme, the MTR Corporation has donated two
