A truly great theatre that retains a strong feeling from the golden age of HK cinema. Beautifully maintained by excellent staff. Regardless of what is showing, I will visit the Lux absolutely every time I come to Hong Kong.

Last cinema that still uses paper ticket with hand drawn seat numbers. Cheap tickets price. You can weight yourself in the front entrance and a paper will come out with your weight on it, very cool.

It's a rather old cinema, if you are after cheap ticket prices and a taste of the cinema with old setup and decoration, this is actually a good place to visit. But don't expect to enjoy top quality visual and audio effects here, and in fact, during my last visit, the screen seems to have a crack too which annoyed me a bit while watching the movie. Though I must say, the seats are comfortable and the whole room feels spacious.
