Baumhaus Wan Chai is listed under tutoring centres in Wan Chai. The address is 1/F, 嘉佑大廈36-44 Queen's Rd E, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. Below you will find what people usually look up before a visit: the exact location, contact details, opening hours and the Google rating. The address puts it on an upper floor, so note the floor and unit number; some buildings ask visitors to register at the lobby, and lifts can be slow at busy times.

Under the Education Ordinance, tutoring centres above a certain size must register with the Education Bureau as schools, and registered centres usually display their certificate. Before enrolling, ask about the tutors' qualifications, class sizes, timetable and full fees, and about refunds and make-up classes; many tutoring centres and hobby classes offer a trial lesson. Treat promises of guaranteed passes or school places with care, and get any terms in writing.

Google lists the opening hours as daily, 09:00–18:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2321 5898. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is baumhaus.com.hk, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

Customers give it an average of 4.6 out of 5 on Google (40 reviews), a high score by any measure.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

I visited with my 2-year old for a trial music class and had a great experience. I booked on a weekday around a week in advance and had no trouble getting in, although I noticed that other classes had already filled up. Upon arrival, the staff were so friendly in greeting us and had prepared a name tag for my daughter. During class, the instructor was patient and made an effort to call out and engage every child. After class, the instructor came to ask about my experience and share feedback about my child's engagement in the class -- including recommending that she was more than ready for the Level 2 class (2-3 year old) rather than the Level 1 (1-2 year old) that I had signed up for. This was helpful as I had been on the fence about which level to join as my child's age was right in between the two levels. The playroom itself is smaller than I expected, but I appreciated having access to it as part of the music class experience. Location is on the 1st floor (up one flight of stairs, with a lift available) and was not hard to find - the playroom was visible from the street with the large windows, with clear signage inside the building as well.

I've been with Baumhaus for more than year now, and I've seen and experienced firsthand how lovely it is to work in this center. My coworkers have been incredibly kind since day one, and everyone here regards you like family. I immersed myself in this lovely community, working with children and families, and it was an incredible experience. One of the key reasons I still work here and will continue to work here is the sense of community and respect for one another. Kindermusik helps children and families make the most out of their children's unique gifts as an individual. Teaching them how to use their musical and artistic skills. Thank you for making me a part of this beautiful community.

My 4 year old has been going to Baumhaus for class and the playroom since he was 4 months old and absolutely loves both. This was on the recommendation of my in-laws who's daughter loved their classes too. The teachers definitely know what they’re doing and have the most beautiful voices. Kindermusik is the only class I’ve signed up for for my 6m old. I find it’s the only class he really responds to. He’s smiling for 45 mins and actually responds to the teacher. We also love how you get free access to the playroom if you sign up for the class. As a bonus, there's a cafe with a pretty good menu. My son loved the babycinno there and for parents to grab a coffee before class.

I am both a mother of a toddler and an infant professional who has worked with the Baumhaus team. As a mum, I love the Baumhaus space. It has a lovely open ended play area which my daughter loves to explore while I enjoy a barista coffee. The food is good quality and value, with excellent options for kids. The space is bright and the staff are incredibly friendly. As a professional, I have been really impressed by the knowledge and ethos of the staff at Baumhaus. Every activity in their classes is carefully chosen and has a solid basis in musical education. I always learn something new when I work with the team, and just love how they incorporate that knowledge into every careful and considered choice that they make. I can highly recommend Baumhaus.

Took my kid to the trial class. I’m a bit disappointed because the types of instrumentals are too little. The toddlers basically just played the drums and the shakers only. The teacher was friendly. During the class we were running , playing in circles and sang songs just like what other playgroups do however I find the activities are not so interesting. The classroom is spacious but we only just sat in the middle. Overall the musik class doesn’t seem worth going for me. The play area outside the classroom is quite small. And the toys are rather old. But my kid still had fun playing. Staffs are friendly too. If I need an hour break I would definitely take my kid to release his energy here. But I won’t consider enroll their classes.
