智愛學教育中心(灣仔), a tutoring centre in Wan Chai, is at 6/F, 98 Thomson Rd, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. The address puts it on an upper floor, so note the floor and unit number; some buildings ask visitors to register at the lobby, and lifts can be slow at busy times.

Tutoring and hobby classes are busiest around exam season (before the HKDSE, for example) and in the summer holidays, so enrol early for popular slots. Ask about materials and registration fees, get receipts, and avoid paying a long course in advance in one go. Treat promises of guaranteed passes or school places with care, and get any terms in writing.

Opening hours: Mon–Sat 09:00–18:30, Sun 09:00–18:00. It is open seven days a week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 3611 8400. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is i-learner.edu.hk, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.

Customers give it an average of 4.8 out of 5 on Google (8 reviews), a high score by any measure.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.
