About Best Western Hotel Causeway Bay
Best Western Hotel Causeway Bay is listed under hotels in Wan Chai. The address is 香港島灣仔祥和里. Below you will find what people usually look up before a visit: the exact location, contact details, opening hours and the Google rating.
When booking, check whether the rate includes service charges and breakfast, read the cancellation terms and compare with the property's own website. Prices are highest and rooms scarcest at Christmas, New Year, Lunar New Year and during major trade fairs and concerts; with heavy luggage, a stay near an MTR or Airport Express station makes life easier. Ask about early check-in or late check-out when you book.
No opening hours have been published here yet; the Google Maps link on this page shows the latest details. Bear in mind that many small shops close over Lunar New Year and may not open while a typhoon or black rainstorm warning is in force. Phone: 2496 6666. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, bestwesternhotelhongkong.com.
It has a Google rating of 3.5 out of 5 from 1,650 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.
Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

It is a practical and affordable stay in Wan Chai, especially if you want easy access to food spots, shops, and transportation. Just don’t expect the rooms to be big (you get what you pay for). Also note that the hotel doesn’t provide free water bottles or toothbrushes, but you can easily buy them on the 1st floor, so it’s not a big hassle. The only downside is that the hotel is a bit tucked inside, behind the buildings along the main road, so finding it for the first time can be a little tricky. But once you know the way, it’s manageable. I highly recommend requesting a room on a higher floor. The view is amazing– you get that “domino of buildings” skyline that Hong Kong is known for. It’s definitely worth it if you enjoy city views. Overall, it’s a budget‑friendly stay in a great location, with a few things to manage depending on your expectations.

If you plan to visit HK on a budget, don't hesitate, this place is yours! Difficult to beat the value for money. Don't mind the negative reviews, if you're looking for a room to crash after long and busy day in the city, Best Western will do the job. The hotel is almost walking distance to everything with MTR and tram at door step. Rooms might be quite small, but offers enough comfort to reload some energy. Pick this hotel if your aim is only to sleep, else accept to pay 4 or 5x if your criteria are luxury and show-off

The room we stayed at was good enough to rest for the night... If you're claustrophobic their standard room is not for you. It was decently clean and just had the hotel perk you need like shampoo, conditioner and a small piece of soap. The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was right in the center of Wanchai wet market which was pretty clean and not smelly. At night there are pretty good hole in the wall restaurants that are patronized by young office workers who would stop by for their dinner before heading home. The hotel is walking distance to the main drag where you can go shopping. Overall I was satisfied with my stay.
