About C U Again Hostel
C U Again Hostel is a hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Tsim Mong, at 36 Nathan Road Chung King Mansion, Tsim Sha Tsui. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.
When booking, check whether the rate includes service charges and breakfast, read the cancellation terms and compare with the property's own website. Prices are highest and rooms scarcest at Christmas, New Year, Lunar New Year and during major trade fairs and concerts; with heavy luggage, a stay near an MTR or Airport Express station makes life easier. Hostels offer dorm beds and private rooms, ask for ID at check-in, and some provide lockers.
No opening hours have been published here yet; the Google Maps link on this page shows the latest details. Bear in mind that many small shops close over Lunar New Year and may not open while a typhoon or black rainstorm warning is in force. Phone: 9609 4889. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work.
It has a Google rating of 2.6 out of 5 from 8 reviews, which is on the low side, so read the most recent reviews before you go.
Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

Don't ever stay here. the worst hostel ever. this hotel is full of scams. the uncle who was on guard was very inhumane we were treated badly, we were kicked out of the hotel in the middle of the night, the room was told to move suddenly. at first we booked a room with a private bathroom but when we came they didn't have the facilities. we were charged an additional $208. if you leave the suitcase you have to add about $50 per suitcase

I guess it all comes down to value for money, and I don’t know the Hong Kong market well enough to judge. But I regret not finding a better hostel. The dorm I was in had two standard bunks (4 beds) but also two narrow camp beds squeezed between them and a third camp bed in the room’s remaining space. All occupied. No lockers. No sitting room. Dilapidated beds and decor. Was unsure the guy who took my cash actually worked there - in fact I got an email from the hostel to say I hadn’t checked in!

If this were my first budget accommodation in Hong Kong, I may not have rated it so highly, but it’s important to consider that Hong Kong is a city with aging infrastructure and high demands on it’s limited space. Accommodation can be very expensive, so when booking something at such a reasonable rate one has to control one’s expectations. The hostel features rooms that are simple but clean and comfortable in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui. It is stupendously affordable, and the gentleman running the business is extremely kind and accommodating.
