Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere.

On arrival we were not able to find the place but we saw a vegetarian restaurant with another name. Location has replaced to another restaurant. Staff has told me that the chefs remained the same. The food is delicious. We order the sweet and sour chicken and baked rice.

Huge menu so lots to choose from. We ordered the assorted gluten and bean curd platter and XO sauce fried udon. Both were good but I was surprised that the gluten/bean curd platter was served cold. Note that there is an automatic charge for tea and 10% service charge.

M Garden has a convenient location, just a few minutes' walk from both Mong Kok and Yau Ma Tei stations. The restaurant is situated within the Omega Plaza commercial building, accessible via a lift from the back entrance lobby. M Garden offers a delightful fusion of traditional Chinese flavors with influences from around Asia. The menu features a diverse selection, including Japanese udon, Malaysian curry, Singaporean vermicelli, Thai tom yum soup, and Japanese sushi. The Thai-style steamed tofu fish is highly recommended. Served on a hot platter, the tangy tamarind flavor really makes it stand out. If I really had to be picky, I would prefer to have a little more spice in the dish. But it’s already an amazing work of art. The menu is conveniently available in English, making it easy for tourists and ethnic minorities to navigate and order. The restaurant offers dim sum as part of its afternoon set. You may want to come later in the afternoon if you want to have dim sum.

The place is a little bit inaccessible, we have to climb up 2 flights of stairs to get to the restaurant. We ordered the fried rice, noodles and a Truffle Ravioli Pasta. They also recommended us their Signature Grilled Fish. The grilled fish was really special and it tasted fantastic. The service staff also helped pour the soup over the grilled fish in front of us. Their male toilet is too far away from the restaurant, having to pass through 4 doors to get there😂

Great HK style vegetarian restaurant with a wide ranging menu, friendly staff, and nice atmosphere with many families and friends sharing meals. There’s a smaller dim sum menu, and a much larger ‘book’ menu - be sure to ask for that. Many vegetarian soup options and tofu dishes as well as a wide range of other options. It’s on the 2nd floor so you can’t really see it from the street. Other reviews mention the toilets being not nice, so we didn’t go. Posted every page of the large menu.
