Kwun Tong is part of the Kwun Tong District in Kowloon. Kowloon is densely packed: Nathan Road runs north from Tsim Sha Tsui towards Prince Edward, lined along with its side streets by shops, restaurants and upstairs businesses, and most places are a few minutes' walk from an MTR station. Mong Kok's street markets, Sham Shui Po's electronics and fabric streets and Kowloon City's Thai restaurants are familiar landmarks for shopping and eating. Many Kwun Tong industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios; note the building name and floor, as access can differ in the evening and at weekends.

The menu has some unique dishes from a mix of south eastern Asia origins. Recommend the crab curry and pomelo salad; would not get the prawn with glass noodles. Comfortable seating and excellent dining experience. Located in a new mall in the area.

a newly opened Southeast Asian restaurant at The Millennity, Kwun Tong, offering Thai, Singaporean and Vietnamese flavors in one place. Easily reached by lift to the 9th floor, it stands out as the mall’s only Southeast Asian dining option with wallet‑friendly prices. The space has a relaxed, holiday vibe with bamboo décor, featuring indoor seating and a pet‑friendly outdoor terrace. All chefs are Thai, delivering authentic flavors and house‑made desserts. Highlights include generous daily happy hour deals, affordable afternoon tea sets, weekly-changing lunch menus, and well-executed dishes like spicy pork rib soup, grilled pork neck, baked seafood rice, and sambal water spinach.

Nice and busy place with the free flow and happy hour buy one get one free. Connecting to the sky garden making the restaurant even more relaxing! Food is also highly recommended: curry, spring roll etc full of SEA tastes

Early evening at CHAO felt easy and calm. Staff were attentive—quick seating, water refills. Food highlights: rice‑paper rolls with pork neck are neat and fresh; Grilled lemongrass beef skewers carry a good char yet stay tender. Crab‑meat yellow curry is the star—rich coconut body, gentle heat, plenty of crab. Drinks: Tropical Thai Sunrise is fruity with a lime lift; the Pineapple Spitzer is bright, fizzy, and great with curry. Fair value for the setting. Solid Southeast Asian flavors in a relaxed space.

Located next to the sky garden of a new landmark shopping mall, the restaurant offers a relaxing atmosphere for a chilled meal. The outdoor area is very cozy for happy hour or tea time. The signature crab yellow curry is definitely a must try item with crispy bread, and the Tom Yum Moo Sap noodle is surprisingly non spicy while keeping the flavors. Good service.
