Sheung Wan is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Sheung Wan's Des Voeux Road West and Bonham Strand West are known for dried seafood, ginseng and herbal shops, which are busiest before Lunar New Year.

Chow sifu is a great Taichi/kung fu master who has many years of experience indeed, he is very polite and humble. For the class he teaches each student patiently and give advice to the details for the each movement, therefore, his class is always very enjoyable :)

I can highly recommend this school. I started studying last October to stabilize my lower back pain caused by a herniated disc and it really helps me a lot to pracitce with Master Chow. He is an absolute expert of his style and can easily adapt to different levels of students experience, giving you right from the start the feeling of making solid progress and still refining and finetuning your movements as you become more adept and able to dive deeper into the art. I really appreciate the time he takes for each student during class and also explaining what you are "defending against" from a martial arts perspective. It is a great honor for me to learn from such a true and experienced master. Being a Taekwon Do black belt, I feel utmost humble when practicing with Master Chow, as I have still so much room to grow. Devil's in the details and Master Chow sees every detail of your movement. As for my back pain, Master Chow takes this highly into consideration during teaching and I never had issues during class or afterwards. Much more the practice helps me to stabilize the whole body in a way not even Yoga or Pilates could do to me and to get rid of the pain. No matter if you are a mar

Learning Tai Chi from Master Chow is a wholly unique experience and one the highlights of my time in Hong Kong. I’ve tried a few classes of Tai Chi before in the states, but none can compare to this style. Master Chow’s Chen Style feels more authentic and much more challenging in a good way. His tutelage is thorough and accommodating to anyone’s abilities and limitations. No matter what one’s skill level, strength, or range of motion Master Chow will help them inherit Tai Chi in a way that is comfortable, yet beneficial. During my approximately 1 year learning Tai Chi I found myself growing stronger and more in tune with the rhythms and circulations of the body. And while I wish I could continue taking classes (returning to home country unfortunately), the lessons I’ve learned under Master Chow have provided me with plenty of forms to practice and a path forward for growth and understanding as I incorporate Tai Chi into my life for the years to come. Whether you have one day or one year, do not miss an opportunity to learn this beautiful and ancient art form from a friendly, enthusiastic instructor and true Master.

Master Chow is a great teacher and I´m very happy that I could learn from him while I was living in Hong Kong. He has a very good style of teaching. It´s in small groups of people on different skill level and he takes time for each of his students to improve their forms. From time to time the group practices together and you learn from the others as well. Master Chow is very friendly, explains the background of his Tai Chi lineage in a nice way and successfully motivates you to practice at home. I can strongly recommend him and I wish I could have practiced more with him but returned to my home country.

I started learning taichi with Master Chow about 4yrs ago. Before that I was learning through watching VCD which I thought was ok. After about 2-3 lessons with Master Chow I realize that Taichi & probably any other kungfu required proper guidance from a true master, otherwise the results can only be mediocre. Learning Taichi was highly suggested by at least 2 Chinese herbal doctors because I suffered from an nervous breakdown a few years back which causes great illness including hypertension, anxiety panic, muscles tension, headaches, dizziness, poor body balance, difficulty breathing, shortness of breath & sometimes blackouts. They say Taichi can help improve my health by improving blood flow, body energy can flow more efficiently & improving body stored energy throughout the meridian. I can tell you after practice taichi with Master Chow for a few years, my health have improved tremendously, I recovered 95% of my illness, I have more energy & power, I feel stronger than 10years ago. Learning Taichi through Master Chow you will notice is unlike many other Taichi Master you see in the Park. You see Taichi is a kungfu which can be used as self defense in combat if you train hard
