Vets in Hong Kong must be registered with the Veterinary Surgeons Board. Book ahead where you can and bring vaccination and previous medical records; prices for surgery and tests vary a lot, so ask for a quote. Some animal hospitals offer 24-hour emergency care but not all do, so note the nearest one in advance.

Google lists it as open 24 hours, seven days a week, though arrangements may change in a typhoon or other special circumstances, so call if it matters. You can call 9773 0372; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work. More information is on its website, creaturecomforts.com.hk.

Customers give it an average of 4.8 out of 5 on Google (89 reviews), a high score by any measure.

Shau Kei Wan is part of the Eastern District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Hong Kong summers are hot and humid, and typhoons and rainstorms come mostly in summer and autumn; when the Observatory issues signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning, many businesses close until it is lifted.

I was very impressed with Dr Fallons visit to our home yesterday. She was very thorough, walked through Cuckoo’s medical history, made him feel at home, considering past events at vets I was worried! She also came up with an action plan of how we can treat his food allergies with a fish and/or pumpkin diet and has already been in touch to follow up. Looking forward to future visits without sedation or fear for my dog Cuckoo ☺️

After negligence from a well-known Hong Kong vet AND a horrible experience at another emergency clinic, my dog was left with a severe, worsening infection. Thankfully, we ended up at Creature Comforts, where Dr. Avril took over my dogs care. She was fast, efficient, incredibly gentle with my dog and incredibly patient and empathetic with me. She took the time to understand what had happened, explained everything clearly and gave my dog the treatment he actually needed. She performed the right diagnostics, prescribed the correct antibiotics and gave me clear guidance on what to do next. Dr. Avril didn't just treat my dog she restored my trust in veterinary care. If you want a vet who is thorough, knowledgeable and truly cares about your pet, she is the one. Thank you Dr. Avril and the Creature Comforts team for giving my dog his health back. *Updating my review because CC has done it again, this time with Dr. Adam West — another wonderful experience. He is without a doubt the most compassionate and attentive Vet I've ever been to in Hong Kong. Not to mention highly qualified. When my dog was hit with HGE and acute pancreatitis, Dr. Adam handled it with such expertise and reassur

A Stress-Free Lifesaver for Cats in Hong Kong ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🐾 Finding a vet who makes Hong Kong summers stress free for my cats has been life changing. Creature Comforts Veterinary Housecall Practice turned what used to be a dreaded ordeal into a calm, easy experience. In the past, travelling to the clinic left my cats panting and stressed. Only part of the journey was cool, and they hated the elevator rides, which made the whole trip even harder for them. Having the vet come to us has been a lifesaver for their health and comfort. 🐱 Dr. Annabelle is kind, patient, and professional. She takes the time to help my cats feel at ease, and her positive energy is a joy to be around. This was my first visit with her, and my brother has praised her from previous visits too. She arrives on time, works efficiently without ever making us feel rushed, and shows great thoughtfulness in her care. 💖 Thankfully my cats only had a minor infection, and her reassuring manner put my mind at ease straight away. The support team on WhatsApp was also excellent, arranging the visit quickly and smoothly. I would recommend Dr. Annabelle to any pet owner in Hong Kong.

I can't express enough how grateful I am for the exceptional care my cats receive from Dr. Annabelle and her team. As a house call vet, she understands how anxious my domestic cats are about going out, and her approach is nothing short of heartwarming. Dr. Annabelle's empathy shines through in every interaction. She was a tremendous help during a difficult time with my late cat, Wowo, even helping me shave a beautiful patch of fur to remember him by. Now, she takes care of my three other beloved cats, including my newly adopted one with some complicated preexisting conditions. Her valuable advice has made managing her health so much easier. Every visit feels like a warm embrace; my cats not only get healthier but also leave with a renewed sense of love. The responsiveness and dedication of the clinic's customer service ensure that I always get the quickest possible appointments tailored to my cats' needs. In moments of loss, like when Wowo passed away, the comfort and support from Dr. Annabelle and her team were truly invaluable. I would love to give more than 5 stars if I could, because their service is top-notch! Thank you for all that you do! 💖🐈

Creature Comforts is an animal hospital that provides heartfelt service. From booking the appointment by phone to the reception, the nurses are friendly and responsive. Dr. Quach gave my senior doggie his annual shot and did a full blood check with great care, making the blood draw as painless as possible. The whole process was smooth and quick. They even gave me a handy first aid kit after the appointment with practical home treatment items. P.S. They also offer Stella & Chewy's snacks for your furry friends during the waiting time, adding extra joy to their vet visit! 🤭
