The CSL/1010 shop in Wan Chai is very easy to locate — it’s right next to MTR Exit A3, which makes it super convenient if you’re passing through the area. I went in to update my billing information and the staff were reasonably helpful and friendly. They got the job done without much fuss. That said, there are some annoying limitations. If you have any outstanding bill, they refuse to take credit card at the counter. You’re forced to either queue at the self-service machine or handle it through the 1010 app. I found this a bit inconvenient for what should be a simple visit. Another downside is that they don’t offer travel passes or tourist SIMs at the counter anymore — everything has to be done via the app. It feels like they’re pushing customers toward self-service more and more. Overall, it’s an average experience. Good location and okay service for basic matters, but the payment restrictions and app-only policies make it less user-friendly than expected. Fine if you’re prepared and have the app ready, otherwise it can be a bit of a hassle.

Main 4.5G radio reception is not as stronger as CMCC. But customer service is great. You have to pay extra to enable 5G network.

Amazingly helpful staff that fixed our billing problem very quickly. In renewing our contract to get a discount on the new Samsung S9 phone, the staff purposely walked over to another branch in the middle of a storm to get me the color of phone I wanted. If there a line, you can also pull a ticket and be notified by cell phone when your number is next.
