It’s an all vegetarian restaurant, even if the dish says “Duck”, it would be mock meat or bean! The lamb skewers and California rolls are a must try!

Went to Gaia Veggie hoping for a nice vegetarian meal, but left quite disappointed. The atmosphere was really uncomfortable—extremely noisy and no air conditioning, so it got stuffy and unpleasant, especially since the place was packed. Service was another letdown. Super slow, and the staff (all elderly ladies) looked completely exhausted and overwhelmed. I honestly felt bad for them, but the long waits and lack of attention made for a frustrating experience. As for the food—just okay at best. Most dishes leaned way too sweet for my taste, even the savoury ones. Nothing stood out as particularly good. For the price and hype, I expected much more. Probably won’t return.

Went for dinner around 8pm. At first the waitress kept telling me many items are not available, but eventually found some dishes they did have. The food came quickly and was tasty, and a good size for sharing. Before I had finished I was brought the bill. As I was still eating I added cash to it and left it, and a waitress collected it. When I had finished eating I was still waiting for my change when another waitress came and asked me to pay. I explained I had already paid but she didn't understand me and kept asking me to pay in different ways. She asked her boss to come who also kept arguing with me when I explained I had paid. Eventually we went to the hostess stand where they found my money waiting for them.

Average tasting food but good and memorable experience! Everything in the menu is vegetarian even the "meats" and "fishes". Like I mentioned it was memorable but it comes with a hefty price! Food for four people was around 1000 HKD and it was not very fulfilling. But I would say for the vegetarians and vegans this is as close as they can get to authentic cantonese cuisine.
