Very old school Chinese style vegetarian restaurant that has been around for decades. I can’t say that the food was very refined, and the decor was also quite dated, but it has its charm. The food was adequate, but lacks the satisfaction of a complete meal.

An over 120-year old restaurant. Great vegetarian varieties in a traditional setting. We had the varieties of tofu-transformed mix. The combination satisfies the mixed taste buds with different textures, sour, sweet, spicy etc. The mushroom dish goes perfectly with the special rice soaked in soy milk that comes with loofah, bamboo mushrooms and vegetables. Friends and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Very famous and highly recommended vegetarian store. We didn't know what to order there, so we got one of the staff to order a few of their recommended dishes to us. I'm not very sure of the names of the dishes, but my favourite has to be the Fried Tofu Balls and the Beancurd Skin with mushrooms and veggies. The roast 'meat' was really good too, but I'm not a big fan of the mustard sauce used. Very unique way of cooking that can't be found elsewhere.

Their fried rice is so good. I'm wondering if I can copy it at home. 😄🥢 And it also comes in 2 sizes. Mine today is a small one which is served in a medium sized bowl. The other larger one will be served on a plate. Since there are only 2 ppl in my party, the small one is perfect. The braised rice noodle is really tasty too. We will encore. 😋

**This review is only for the 齋鹵味 which is the imitated meat made of fried gluten balls in sweet and sour, curry and soy sauce flavor. ** This place is famous for its 齋鹵味 (imitated meat). It never disappoints me. Good texture, natural flavor and reasonable price. I tried many other places and their imitated meat doesn’t have this springy texture while the flavor and color are artificial and overwhelming. But this place does a great job in all areas. Recommend!
