Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

The hotel is very near a metro station that crosses the city and is very practical. The rooms are a bit noisy whenever cleaning service's done in a room right next to ours but it only starts at 8.30am In regular King bedrooms be aware that bed measure 1.80m x 1.80m and these are the biggest beds they offer.

One of the only places I could find a king sized bed for a decent price. The trade off is space around the room, but if you use it as a base for holding your suitcases and sleeping, you're fine. The view was alright; it is Sham Shui Po, after all. The space was clean, and housekeeping did a great job. We didn't find the fridge till two days in ( close the door to the bathroom). The front desk staff were nice. It's a ten min walk through the market to the mtr station exit B2, and therefore, the golden computer arcade. Being on pei ho street also means you're near a major road, so you can catch light buses, normal buses, and taxis fairly easily. We didn't really hear the road at night and in the morning when we were at the hotel though. There are late night food places one block over, and the 7/11 is right across from the station.

Worst Hotel Ive ever stayed in. Literally 0 oxygen inside the room. Sleeping is impossible. The AC makes me sick even if its on 25 degrees celsius. Im very sensitive to mold, cant prove it but I highly doubt they ever changed the Filters or cleaned the AC out. Even found some black mold inside bathroom sink. Unfortunaly we stayed here during Chinese spring fest and payed 500€ for 3 days. The Price-Performance is the worst. Sitting on the roof top Right now because its impossible to stay inside that room for me. The room service / cleaner isnt good either, bathroom wasnt propperly cleaned. But the receptionists are nice.
