The food quality is quality quite good and there is a lot dim light, identicate 80s - 90s western restaurant, that make me feel nostalgic when I go there. I have ordered medium Sirloin steak dinner set with creamy chicken soup, bread with butter and cold lemon tea.Although the lemon tea taste sour and bland,others are good and price is reasonable.

The Flying Eagle serves what is considered classic “soy sauce western” food that is a signature of local cuisine. To be fair, its food isn’t bad at all, but I am not the biggest fan of soy sauce western. I went to experience the now very rare atmosphere of classic commoners’ western restaurant. The people were super kind. They smiled at me every time they passed by. I thought the restaurant had a fuzzy warm feel to it. I loved the ambience as well, all around nostalgic with museum grade elements everywhere. I actually would go back to try their signature steak on sizzling iron plate.

The restaurant was a nostalgic Hong Kong style western restaurant. The overall food quality was good. I ordered a dinner set of filet mignon, with Russian soup and bread. The bread was light and full of air. The soup was a Hong Kong style “red soup”, with tomato and lettuce. The beef was tender and soft served with bbq sauce on an iron plate. There were side dishes of chips, lettuce and tomato. The whole meal costed HKD 145, included 10% of service fee. They accepted only cash payment.

Location is convenient, and it is an ordinary and traditional Hong Kong style western restaurant. Staff were friendly and patient. Food were good and the steak and pork were served on hot iron plates. Buns were superb and served with cold butter.
