About 港島皇悅酒店
港島皇悅酒店 is listed under hotels in Wan Chai. The address is 香港島灣仔軒尼詩道33號. Below you will find what people usually look up before a visit: the exact location, contact details, opening hours and the Google rating.
When booking, check whether the rate includes service charges and breakfast, read the cancellation terms and compare with the property's own website. Prices are highest and rooms scarcest at Christmas, New Year, Lunar New Year and during major trade fairs and concerts; with heavy luggage, a stay near an MTR or Airport Express station makes life easier. Ask about early check-in or late check-out when you book.
No opening hours have been published here yet; the Google Maps link on this page shows the latest details. Bear in mind that many small shops close over Lunar New Year and may not open while a typhoon or black rainstorm warning is in force. Phone: 3692 2111. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, empirehotelsandresorts.com.
At 3.8 out of 5 on Google (1,110 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

For Hong Kong, the room is actually a little bigger than I expected, which was nice. The main issue was the air conditioner. It smelled a bit moldy, and I couldn’t find the remote until my last day — turns out it was next to the bed. Also, the AC gets seriously cold, like surprisingly cold. The bathroom and toilet were just about okay. The carpet is definitely showing its age, and the white LED lights in the hallway give it a slightly prison-like vibe. The windows also don’t open. That said, the staff here are excellent. Everyone was friendly, professional, and spoke English well. The housekeeping lady was always working hard, and the sheets were clean. Location-wise, if you’re in Hong Kong for business, it’s pretty much perfect. Overall, the staff really make this place. Just please fix the moldy smell from the AC.

I had a decent stay at Empire Hotel. It’s very convenient to the train station, which made getting around easy. I just wish the hotel offered laundry facilities — that would have made the stay even better.
