About 廣福義祠(百姓廟)
廣福義祠(百姓廟), a place of worship in The Peak, Central and Western, is at 香港島太平山太平山街40號. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.
When visiting a temple, church or other place of worship, dress respectfully, keep your voice down and follow any rules on photography. Lunar New Year, major religious festivals and weekends draw the biggest crowds, and some places only open at set times; if you want to join a service or ceremony, check the timetable first. Some temples are especially crowded at Lunar New Year and on deity birthdays, so avoid peak times.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 08:00–17:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 2546 8277; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there.
At 4.2 out of 5 on Google (190 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
The Peak is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. The Peak is reached by the Peak Tram or by bus; its lookouts draw big crowds on holidays.

Came around after looking up historical temples on Google maps. Its a medium size temple (HK size) in which you’ll see a red painted wall with stairs on the left side. Worth 5-10min check-in & check-out as its been awarded 2x Guinness World Record.

There's two flight of stairs to grapple with, but the temple is pretty compact. There's a fortune teller that can help you decipher your fortune at the side for a fee.

Unique position for the settlement and population history of Hong Kong where early immigrants died and with nobody to take care of will eventually ended up here. Must be seen with the other similar aged structures around to comprehend the early settlement history of Hong Kong
