About Gym Town
Gym Town, a gym in Central, Central and Western, is at 2/F, On Hing Building, 1 On Hing Terrace, Central, Hong Kong Island. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted. Public pools and sports facilities run by the Leisure and Cultural Services Department are inexpensive, and many can be booked through the SmartPLAY system; most outdoor pools close in winter while heated indoor pools stay open all year. Private gyms and studios vary in price and facilities, so visit and compare. If you only need a gym for a short time, ask about day or monthly passes rather than a long contract.

Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

The gym is really nice, you have all the equipment you need, it can get crowded sometimes at peak hours but it's central HK... The staff is really friendly, the price is fair, you have free towels and a water fountain inside of the gym as well. The lockers and sanitary are always clean. Would recommend to anyone !

I absolutely love this gym. The facilities are definitely top-notch. It’s new, spacious and clean. The atmosphere also incredible - you can feel the positive energy and enthusiasm from both stuff and fellow members. The most important part is the personal trainers - they are knowledgeable, experienced and genuinely passionate about helping you succeed. Overall it has exceeded my expectations in every aspect.. keep it up!

Really enjoyed my three months there while I took time out from my other PT gym. Good value for money, the place is sleek and clean, locker rooms have nice amenities including free workout wear if you happen to forget your gear, and their trainers are focused and professional. It wasn’t ever too crowded and there were enough weightlifting machines for everyone. I think they also have a very robust boxing program, though I didn’t try it. Bonus is a physiotherapist who can do stretches in a private room too. There’s a spacious lounge area near reception if you want to chill out before or after workouts. All in all a good experience.
