About Happy Pets Veterinary Centre
Happy Pets Veterinary Centre is a vet in Tai Hang, Wan Chai, at 香港島大坑施弼街12號. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.
Vet clinics are busiest in the early evening and at weekends, so book a slot for anything non-urgent. Check the rules before taking your pet on public transport, and for long-term follow-up ask whether the clinic offers packages. This page does not replace a vet's diagnosis.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 10:00–14:00 and 15:00–19:00. It is open seven days a week. There is a midday break, so the day is split into two sessions. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2895 6811. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. Its website is happypets.hk, which may show prices, details of what it offers or online booking.
At 4.2 out of 5 on Google (76 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Tai Hang is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Hong Kong addresses give the street and number, the building name, then the floor and unit; "G/F" means the ground floor, and as big buildings can have several entrances, look for the directory board in the lobby.

I brought my dog visiting Happy Pets since vaccination. We get professional advice and suitable treatment whenever we visit. Vet nurse are nice and kind-hearted. As a long-term customers, I notice there appears many 1-star comments with similar description just in the past 1 or 2 days. When you visit the clinic’s FB page, you’ll find the malicious comment from the tenant living in the same building. Obviously, those 1-star comments appear in here comes from the same person who open different accounts, leaving malicious comments here. This kind of behaviour should not be encouraged and the person who’s leaving fake comments should be condemned.

My senior dog has always been terrified of the vet, but the doctors and staff here were so kind and patient she actually likes visiting! This clinic specializes in eye problems, so their prices are higher than an average clinic without the specialization, but if your pet has eye problems, I believe this is probably the best place to take them in HK. Highly recommend.
