恒豐家庭五金, a hardware shop in Cheung Sha Wan, Sham Shui Po, is at 九龍長沙灣東京街12號街市M31-M32. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.

It pays to compare prices before you buy and to check that the price shown includes everything. Octopus, credit cards, FPS and e-wallets work in most shops, though small ones may be cash only or set a minimum for cards; weekend and public-holiday afternoons are busiest, so weekday daytime is better for a relaxed browse. Hardware shops cluster in older street-level shops; bring measurements or a photo so staff can match the part.

Google lists the opening hours as Mon–Fri 08:30–19:00, Sat–Sun 11:00–17:00. It opens every day of the week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. You can call 9152 6950; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. It is a mobile number, and many local businesses also answer enquiries on WhatsApp.

It shows 1.0 out of 5 on Google, but from only 1 review, so treat it as a first impression rather than a verdict.

Cheung Sha Wan is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Hong Kong summers are hot and humid, and typhoons and rainstorms come mostly in summer and autumn; when the Observatory issues signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning, many businesses close until it is lifted.
