華聯五金, a hardware shop in Cheung Sha Wan, Sham Shui Po, is at 九龍長沙灣元州街320A地下. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.

Shops in Hong Kong keep long hours, many until 21:00 or 22:00, and mall shops usually open around 10:00. Keep your receipt: returns and exchanges are generally at the shop's own discretion, so ask before you buy, and for electronics check whether the item is a local-warranty model. If a dispute arises, the Consumer Council can advise or take a complaint. Hardware shops cluster in older street-level shops; bring measurements or a photo so staff can match the part.

Opening hours: Mon–Fri 08:00–18:30, Sat 08:00–14:30, Sun closed. It is open 6 days a week. It is closed on Sundays, which is not unusual for a small shop, although malls and chain stores open all week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 2729 5189. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first.

It has a Google rating of 4.2 out of 5 from 11 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.

Cheung Sha Wan is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Paying is easy in Hong Kong: Octopus, credit cards, FPS and e-wallets such as PayMe, AlipayHK and WeChat Pay HK are widely used, although some small shops, market stalls and hawkers still take cash only.
