Date of visit: June 13, 2026 around 11:30AM I visited this branch simply to submit a document, but left completely appalled by the blatant hostility of the staff. ​ When I approached the kiosk to get a queue number, the manager on duty aggressively lunged forward and nearly swatted my hand away from the machine. Instead of offering basic assistance, he began shouting at me in Cantonese. When I calmly explained that I don't speak the language, he escalated the situation, yelling at me in broken English before abruptly turning his back and walking away. ​A nearby female staff member eventually stepped in to help, but her reluctant demeanor made it clear I was viewed as a nuisance. When I tried to address how rude and borderline physical the manager had just been, the staff completely ignored my concerns. I asked for the manager’s name so I could escalate a formal complaint, and they refused to give it to me. ​It is deeply concerning that a bank manager feels comfortable acting aggressively toward customers, and even more concerning that his team will actively shield him from accountability. Avoid this branch if you expect to be treated with basic human decency.

Very pleased with the service of the front desk reception staff, they resolved my enquiries without me having to go through the long wait for general enquiries queue. Very patient and proactive even though they were very busy. Didn’t managed to get their names but their helpfulness should be recognised :)

The counter and assisting staff were nice and helpful however the manager was extra rude. I was asked to show some documents for my transaction, but it was my first time in HK to be making a transaction like this so I was clarifying with the counter staff so I can provide them the correct ones. I spoke to them in Mandarin thinking it would be easier to communicate that way, the staff said “oh, you speak mandarin, the manager heard me switch to mandarin, came over suddenly and yelled at me in mandarin “現在就要給文件，沒有就走人(IF YOU CAN’T PROVIDE THEN LEAVE NOW)” then he left. After he yelled, the counter staff became stiff and hesitant to assist. I wasn’t even trying to negotiate or insist the transaction, not even in a rude tone.
