Service level and retail counter manager experience has massive area of improvement. Only one teller at lunch time and it took that teller and the manager to review my US bank issued cheque for 20 min only to tell me that my first name and my middle name sequence is different and will need me to wait for approval from higher up to process my cheque. This compares to a 5-15min seamless experience at Elements branch or exchange square branch even for the first time I did it at those branch. It is clear to me why this branch has zero line at the teller because this branch does not intend to provide teller service to Stan Chart customers and from the wealth management clientele it is very clear that they are only interested in serving you unless you are a Mainland tourist trying to bring in money from offshore.

I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with the recent experiences I have had in this bank. Although the staff members have been polite and courteous, their incompetence has caused significant inconvenience and frustration. I have faced multiple issues, such as unsuccessful attempts to change my card type and incorrect name entries on application forms – a total of three times. This has led me to question the professionalism and efficiency of your organization. Moreover, when I checked my information on the Standard Chartered app today, it was still inaccurate and I changed by myself with a big success. " "DON T WORRY SIR, I WILL FILL FOR YOU THE FORM!" very polite but at the same time so incompetent. In addition, my recent credit card application, initiated on the 8th of January, was cancelled by me two days ago due to the lack of proper knowledge and assistance provided by your staff, including the manager. It appears that the overall competence of your team is severely lacking. every week they were saying: by next week everything is settled.
