Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Local neighborhood ambience. Staff were courteous and patient as we took time to understand the Chinese menu. Fried rice with salted fish and chicken was tasty, generous portion and good proportion of chicken. As original and authentic as you can get for a tourist. Felt cosy and not rushed. Enjoyed the meal.

Great cha chaan tang with decent food; in particular I like their fried rice with egg white, pork belly and ginger; opens till late at night so great for people who have to work till late…definitely worth visiting if you are interested in exploring and experiencing an authentic taste of Hong Kong food culture. It is also located in a convenient location within less than 5 minute walk from the closest train station and major bus stops

A common cha chaan tang in Prince Edward. I ordered the chicken leg tea set and it was so so. Their noodle dishes seemed good however. Not too crowded during tea time and I did sit comfortably with friend and got some business done in a reasonably quiet environment. Not too bad.

I had an authentic Hong Kong-style breakfast at this local spot. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, with no wait for a table. I ordered the standard set 常餐, including BBQ pork spaghetti in soup, a ham and egg sandwich, and hot milk tea for $44. A bit pricey, but the tasty food and great experience made it worthwhile. Highly recommended for a local culinary experience!
