Mong Kok is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Mong Kok is one of Hong Kong's busiest shopping districts: Tung Choi Street (the Ladies' Market) and Fa Yuen Street (Sneakers Street) are lined with small shops, and the buildings along Nathan Road hold countless upstairs shops.

Finally got to try this famous place after 2 visits to Hong Kong and my experience was pleasant. For some reasons Hong Kong locals love to eat sweet soup desserts around midnight so it’s better to visit this place right after dinner to avoid the crowd. The mango sago dish was delicious, and the dish my friend ordered was nice too, though I can’t recall what exactly it was, maybe something with taro? Unlike other eateries I visited in Hong Kong, this place is pretty spacious with wide spaces between tables which was nice. The processes of order and payment were all smooth

A must-visit dessert spot in Mong Kok. It’s easy to see why Kai Kai Dessert has earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand. They have a wide variety of traditional desserts to choose from. I tried the black sesame walnut dessert and the ginger soup glutinous rice balls, and both were delicious. The black sesame and walnut combination was rich and fragrant, while the ginger soup had a nice balance of sweetness and warmth. The shop is clean and comfortable despite being popular. There was a short queue when I visited, but the line moved quite quickly, so the wait wasn’t too long. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.

Located slightly distance from Mong Kok MTR, the shop is small but tidy and clean. Went at 8pm with no queue. Food is in good quality, service also fast. If you have free time at Mong Kok, can consider add this to one of your schedule. Order via QR on respective tables, if you are paying via credit card can do via online. If you are paying via Octopus card or card, have to approach cashier after order placed online. Otherwise food will not be served. But overall experience is good.

This place serves up really authentic Hong Kong desserts. Even though it looks pretty simple, the flavors are amazing. I always stop by whenever I'm in Hong Kong. It’s not the main branch, so it’s usually less crowded than the original one in Jordan.

Was impressed with their Michelin accolade that was proudly displayed on the wall. Small dessert cafe, looks new, very clean and bright. There was no queue and plenty of tables available when we visited here. Ordering is a breeze as it is through QR code and payment can be made immediately on the phone too. Service was prompt and the dessert was a 10/10. Very authentic in taste, and most importantly, not too sweet but retained every bit of the signature taste.
