Although the shop owner is quite bold and straightforward, she’s actually a really nice person. When I asked her questions about keeping parrots, she was happy to answer them all. 🦜

The animals (birds, hamsters, mice, rats, rabbits) at the shop are kept in poor condition and many suffer from health issues. But they sell a variety of bird supplies which are hard to find in HK island, and the shopkeepers are helpful and informative.

parrots toe may have to get amputated. small cage size recommendation, and workers and owners are very uneducated. no birth records of the bird. when wanting to buy here, try to ask owner some in depth questions to see them struggle. you wanna buy parrots here? good luck.

Went there for love bird food few weeks ago. The female owner sold me a pack with expiry date on few days later. When I got back to the shop and told them about it I was refunded. Few weeks later I wanted to see if there are any newly arrived bird food, the owner showed me one pack with an additional sticker showing expiry date of food in Chinese which seemed to be typed in computer. I wanted to buy one and was checking on the date label. However, when I told the owner that I came here few weeks ago and was refunded on the product due to the expiry date, she immediately held back the pack she intended to sell me and said the one I was looking for was out of stock. I asked if there is any other food good for bird to gain weight and she said I should take my bird for vet if he was thin and didn’t need to buy nutritious food for my bird. I felt so strange and couldn’t stop thinking the shop had made the label themselves for the expiry dates so that the owner was so anxious and refused to let me check on it. Attitude was one thing, Just make sure you got the right product and check clearly before purchase.
