Location : Too hard to find if you're new to this mall and also short on time. No clear directions right from mtr to cinema. Even when you're on the 4th floor, and the entrance is in your view, it is still difficult to guess that it is the cinema entrance. So if you're visiting it for the first time or not familiar with K11, allow enough time before your movie to get there. For us, with all the searching in k11, took us approx 20-25mins from TST mtr to cinema seats. Cinema: Imax house 12 was great, row H was a good choice, temperature was alright not too chilly, movie experience was good.

The staff interrupted the end credits to ask us remaining patrons to vacate the theater. None of us were expecting an after credit scene, just paying our respects for an otherwise amazing movie-going experience. Absolutely ridiculous and disrespectful to the industry that employs them. Will never come back

Very modern and clean cinema on the 5th flr of K11 mall. They offer a huge range of movies, from the latest modern global movies to the retro old Chinese and global movies. Offer adult and student pricing, quite pricey but the seats are comfortable and clean and well air conditioned. Visit to escape the HK heat.

Heads up for students! MCL logic:
Study in Hong Kong = student ✅ Study overseas = not a student ❌ Got rejected for student pricing despite being a full-time student. Meanwhile, other cinemas in HK accept valid student IDs just fine. Needless to say, we took our money elsewhere. In a difficult cinema market, this kind of rigid policy only drives customers away. MCL seriously needs to review this.

Nice well maintenened cinema with good selection of new releases easy to get to from hk side and my go to cinema from central ferry pier Good sound and seating not too close to screens Was able to watch whole long end credits until very end, (not always the case in some cinemas) even the cleaning lady waited for me to leave before she swept my row Just one suggestion When a film is about to start and many people queuing up there were only 2 assistants selling tickets while other assistants serving just one guest on the snack stand Better to fast track customers at ticket counter so customers won't miss beginning of films Not everyone wants to buy snacks (though I know this is where cinemas make their most profits) But no one wants to miss beginning of their film
