Kuen Kwun Muay Thai and Boxing is a local business in Wan Chai, at 1/F, 163 Johnston Rd, Wan Chai, Hong Kong Island. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.

This business does not fit neatly into any of our main categories, which often happens when several kinds of work share one roof or when it offers a service that is rare in the area. Google lists the opening hours as daily, 06:00–22:00. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 5420 1551. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. As this is a mobile number, a WhatsApp message may also work. More information is on its website, kuenkwun.com.hk.

It has a Google rating of 5.0 out of 5 from 6 reviews, a strong score that points to consistently positive experiences.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.
