This place is AMAZING! Request for outdoor seating. Fantastic vegan options. It’s truly hard to find vegan dumpings in HK, but this place did not disappoint!

Great food, drinks and atmosphere! Dine outside, beautiful location. The highlight of this establishment is ‘Candy’ who took great care of us - such a magical sense of humour! Efficient service, quality and tasty food! Great for vegan / vegetarian - that still captures the best of HK cuisine!

Came here specially for their tea-infused craft beer. It was a humid day and after walking around the town, an ice cold beer is very welcomed. They have both outdoor and indoor seating areas. Outdoor gives a bit of European vibe with the surroundings, while indoor is very traditional Chinese medicine hall decoration. The place was literally empty when we came here in the afternoon. Ordered the beer tasting, which came in 4 cups of beer. They are not exactly tasting size, I opine it is at least half pint each (so that's a lot of beer in a short time). The colour of the beers are very pleasing, but I cannot say the same to taste. As beer, they are great! But infused with tea? I really don't think so as I barely could taste them. Nonetheless, they are good beer. And the price is reasonable. Service wise, I think I got rolled eye twice as I was taking photos and videos while the waitress was walking past. Not sure if she was really pissed, because she sounded ok when she served us after that.

Absolutely loved the noodles especially the chilli paste that was served with it. They were perfect for my taste. Steamed dumplings were good. May be I should have dipped the dumplings in the paste too. There was about a 20 mins wait, and the staff were very kind. Once seated, order is served quickly. Lovely seating space outside located at the square, can enjoy watching people having a good time. Prices seemed very reasonable.

The atmosphere is great; our server, Candy, was amazing and such a positive person - the best local waiter I've had in 15 years of experience in Hong Kong. Kudos to her. Beer by Heroes is great 👍, with a tasting menu that offers good value for a local brewing company. The food was great too 4/5, all vegetarian. Gonna return The outdoor terrace is chill with a great view towards the main square of Tai Kwun. Must order one drink ( any ) per adult customer. Great tea selection, for tea lovers. Contactless payments available.
