About Leisure Hostel
Leisure Hostel is listed under hostels in Tsim Sha Tsui, Yau Tsim Mong. The address is Flat D3 12/F Block D, Chungking Mansion, Kowloon. Below you will find what people usually look up before a visit: the exact location, contact details, opening hours and the Google rating. This is an upstairs shop: the way in is usually through the building lobby rather than from the street, so check the building name, floor and unit before you go and allow a few minutes for the lift.
When booking, check whether the rate includes service charges and breakfast, read the cancellation terms and compare with the property's own website. Prices are highest and rooms scarcest at Christmas, New Year, Lunar New Year and during major trade fairs and concerts; with heavy luggage, a stay near an MTR or Airport Express station makes life easier. Hostels offer dorm beds and private rooms, ask for ID at check-in, and some provide lockers.
Opening hours are not listed yet. Hours vary a lot between businesses and may change at weekends and on public holidays, so call first or check the Google Maps link on this page. No phone number is listed, so the Google Maps link on this page is the best starting point for directions and any contact details Google has.
It has a Google rating of 2.2 out of 5 from 16 reviews, which is on the low side, so read the most recent reviews before you go.
Tsim Sha Tsui is part of the Yau Tsim Mong District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. The Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront has the Avenue of Stars and the Cultural Centre, Star Ferries cross to Central and Wan Chai, and the area is full of hotels, malls and restaurants.

One of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. The hygiene was absolutely disgusting: cockroaches in the room, questionable cleanliness, and an overall feeling that basic housekeeping is simply being neglected. What made the experience even worse was the staff’s reaction. They seemed to consider cockroaches in the room completely normal, as if this was just part of the hotel experience. There was no real concern or urgency about the situation, which is honestly shocking. I couldn’t even stay there. I left after only a few hours because I simply could not spend the night in such a filthy place. I have never experienced anything like this in a hotel before. The only positive thing about this hotel is the location. Unfortunately, even a great location cannot make up for such poor hygiene and unacceptable conditions. Absolutely not recommended. If you care about cleanliness, hygiene and basic standards, stay somewhere else.

I booked in advance and we travel from USA to Hongkong and when we get there they cancelled our room and they want more money. This is scam and fraud! The guy is rude nasty unprofessional and he doesn’t know to talk to a human being. The place is sooo dirty, stinks, loud, unsafe, and dangerous to sleep. I hope it will not happen to those people like us who’s planning to book or stay in this place. It’s not worth. They never refund our money and I’m still dealing now from the company where I booked (Expedia). The Leisure Hostel blaming to Expedia and that’s funny. No cancellation on the website and the guy trying to trick us to pay more instead. We’re not stupid to do this! Please don’t be a victim of scammers!!! Also please don’t go by the pictures they post on the website because that’s not real when u go to the place! It’s totally different you will shocked!!!

When myself and my family came in with our confirmation number. The receptionist said that our booking was canceled (which we never cancel) and that we had to contact Expedia because it was their fault. He mentioned that there were no rooms available but that he could accommodate us in a room for a higher price that we paid already using Expedia, making this a COMPLETE SCAM. The receptionist had our information and everything matched our booking but he kept blaming Expedia for all the inconvenience. It was a little bit after midnight when we got there, because we also had to find the floor number and people in the same building DOES NOT KNOW the LEISURE HOSTEL making us waste time by calling the hostel (no answer), asking for the floor number (this is a tall building), looking at the directory and no location. We are all tired but even so the receptionist denied our booking and left us there in the hostel lobby. Plain and simple, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, IT IS A SCAM AND IT WILL ALWAYS BE A SCAM, SAVE YOUR MONEY, TIME, PATIENCE AND PERSONAL INFORMATION WHEN DEALING WITH THIS "LEISURE HOSTEL".
