Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

This is the uncensored voice of hong kong . Where ideals of justice and freedom still clings on . You can find a nostalgic attic turned into free space for talks and workshops. Also books that media are too scared to print sell or promote. The poster of Vaclav Havel says it all

Fantastic independent bookstore with an arts space/gallery upstairs. Not enough places like this in Hong Kong, and it’s great to visit. Most titles in Chinese. The gallery upstairs right now is a student installation about the redevelopment of a housing estate and the people curating it were nice enough to explain it to me, the illiterate (re: Chinese characters) visitor.

the shop is actually smaller than what i have expected from their social medias, however, you do feel kinda nice decorated in every corner in the shop, and most of those very interesting too, and although the shop is small, you do feel you could easily spend hours in there... with the cozy and interesting ideas of the shop, a wonderful place to spend your day at.
