Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays.

Lung Ting offers a refined fusion dining experience with impressive attention to detail. The 13-course Toro Foie Gras Wagyu set was beautifully presented, featuring premium ingredients like toro, foie gras, abalone, tiger prawn, and wagyu. Highlights included the straw-smoked toro, buttery foie gras toast, and flavorful lobster soup. The crispy fried rice with egg was a perfect finishing touch. Elegant atmosphere, excellent service, and well-balanced flavors throughout made it a memorable meal. ✨🍣🥩🦞

Located in Lan Kwai Fong, Central, this teppanyaki restaurant offers a cozy Japanese-inspired setting with counter seating, allowing guests to enjoy the live cooking experience up close. I tried the “Salted Egg Yolk Toro Foie Gras Wagyu Feast (13 Courses)”, featuring premium ingredients such as toro, foie gras, abalone, lobster, and A5 Miyazaki Wagyu. The standout dishes were the salted egg yolk lobster and the perfectly grilled Wagyu, both rich in flavor and beautifully presented. Fresh ingredients, attentive service, and a relaxing atmosphere made for a memorable dining experience. Highly recommended for dates or special occasions. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I have visited this restaurant twice: once on Valentine’s Day and once on a regular weekday. Since this chain regularly offers significant discounts via Klook and OpenRice, my rating is based on the value AFTER the discount. Teppanyaki is rarely cheap, but I genuinely think this restaurant offers good value. The Valentine’s Day menu cost approximately 1,450 per person. For that price, we received a whole lobster, A5 Wagyu, oyster, foie gras, abalone, black truffle, sea urchin, and more. The portions were generous, and I left feeling completely full. While the ingredient quality wasn't top-tier, it was acceptable for the price point. Although the use of luxurious ingredients is a plus, it isn't the most important factor for me. My main issue was that none of the dishes were truly memorable or outstanding in terms of execution. Additionally, the environment is quite poor for a restaurant in this price range.

The meal began with a crisp salad and a delicate onsen tamago, both setting a refreshing tone for the afternoon. The egg, luxuriously topped with black truffle and a whisper of vanilla oil, offered a surprising harmony—earthy yet subtly sweet, a gentle awakening for the palate. The sea bream sashimi followed, gleaming with freshness and carrying a clean, oceanic sweetness that lingered lightly. Then came the Japanese eel, tender and rich, with a smoky depth that contrasted beautifully with the Japanese yuanbei. The yuanbei, plump and slightly briny, had a natural sweetness that was elevated by the burst of salmon roe on top—each pearl adding a pop of saltiness that tied the flavors together. The Miyazaki chicken thigh was a highlight,as it was perfectly cooked with juicy succulence, the drizzle of homemade garlic butter sauce added both comfort and indulgence. The black truffle seafood fried rice was hearty and satisfying, leaving me pleasantly full. The Chrysanthemum Tofu in White Miso Soup was silky and delicate, the tofu carried floral notes that blended seamlessly with the gentle miso broth, a dish that warmed not just the stomach but the spirit. Finally, the citrus sorbet

Just had an incredible dining experience at this fancy Japanese restaurant, and I am still dreaming about it! ✨ First off, the caviar oysters were a luxurious start—so fresh and rich, they melted in my mouth! Then, the teppanyaki seafood - grilled tiger shrimp and scallop stole the show with its incredible flavors, especially when paired with that amazing lobster sauce. It was truly a match made in heaven! The Australian beef tenderloin was cooked to perfection—tender and juicy, it practically sliced through with a fork. And oh my, the black truffle fried rice with seafood? Pure bliss! Each bite was a delightful explosion of flavor and salmon roe. We even enjoyed a comforting bowl of miso soup that felt like a warm hug! And don't get me started on dessert; it was the perfect sweet ending to this unforgettable meal. Highly recommend this culinary gem for anyone looking to treat their taste buds! 🌊🦞🍚🍰💖
