About 麻辣燙
Established in 2005, Chilli Fagara first opened on Graham Street in Soho and soon attracted a loyal clientele with our authentic, fiery Sichuan cuisine. The shop's intimate size, burnished red walls, dark wood furniture and simple details create warmth, while our cuisine creates fire. Based on the Ma La Tang concept for numbing (ma), burning (la) and neutral (tang) tastes of Sichuan food, our menu represents the breathtaking range of culinary possibilities fashioned by our chef each day, all using the freshest ingredients.

Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

The food was so delicious during our trip to Hong Kong that we came back a second time. The dan dan noodles had a rich peanut flavor and were absolutely the best. We also highly recommend the dumplings, fried rice, and Mapo tofu. The service was excellent and very friendly. Manager Helen Yip served us with great kindness and made us feel very welcome throughout our visit. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality. We will definitely come back next time!

Absolutely amazing dining experience! The food was incredibly delicious, and every dish was full of flavor. The service was just as wonderful. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. A special thanks to Helen Yip, who took great care of us. She recommended the apple tea, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of the meal. It was so refreshing and delicious! I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the city. Great food, great service, and a memorable experience. I’ll definitely come back!

Absolutely fantastic service and food. Isaac recommended phenomenal dishes and helped plan out our meal. Would strongly recommend the Braised fish in chili oil, along with the green beans and mapo tofu. Returning to this place without a doubt.

As a Korean traveler, after days of having sweet pineapple buns and Dong Leng Cha (iced lemon tea) at Cha Chaan Tengs, I desperately craved something spicy. This restaurant was the perfect answer. True to its Michelin reputation, the quality of the food exceeded my expectations. The place is exceptionally clean, the staff are highly attentive, and the dishes offer a pleasant, refined spiciness without being overwhelming. I ordered the Mapo Tofu and Dan Dan Noodles. Both were wonderfully balanced and cut through any greasiness perfectly. While it is on the pricier side, the outstanding quality makes it worth every penny. I highly recommend this place and will definitely return on my next trip to Hong Kong! P.S. Special thanks to Kevin! He was incredibly kind

I had been seeing so many great reviews about Chili Fagara that I became really curious to visit. Since I love spicy food, I knew I absolutely had to try it, so I made a reservation and finally went. From the moment we walked in, the staff named El ton greeted us warmly and kindly showed us to our seats, which gave a great first impression. The service felt attentive and welcoming throughout our visit. They offer a lunch menu during the day, which gives you plenty of options to choose from. After reading that the portions were quite generous, we decided to order from the à la carte menu instead of the set lunch. Even so, it was more than satisfying — and most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious. If you enjoy spicy food, this is definitely a place worth visiting.❤️
