I recently took my 7yr old cat to your clinic, and I wanna to express my gratitude for the exceptional care we received. As I living in Tin Hau of the neighbourhood. The clinic are clean and cosy. A special thank you to the nurse was helpful during our visit, assisting us throughout the consultation with kindness and professional. Dr James provided excellent care, offering necessary treatments and thoughtful diet recommendations for my cat. Truly appreciate!

We’ve been bringing our dogs to Dr. Hugh’s since he was born / she was adopted. Although Dr. Hugh has retired, the current vets—Dr. James and Dr. Hilda, are excellent. They’re patient, thorough during consultations, and their explanations and treatment plans always feel well‑reasoned. However, I recently called to book an urgent appointment because both of my dogs were having diarrhoea. The receptionist repeatedly told me there were no available slots on Saturday or Sunday, and the earliest appointment was Monday. When I asked whether we could be squeezed in due to the situation, she simply said the clinic doesn’t offer that kind of service. She told me my only option was to book Monday and call again over the weekend to check for cancellations. She even suggested that they are not the only vet clinic in HK, there are many other vet clinics on Hong Kong Island or in Kowloon, and that I could go elsewhere if my dogs’ condition worsened. Honestly, the way she dismissed us felt like the worst part of the experience. A more considerate response, such as offering to put us on a waitlist and calling if a slot opened up, would have made a big difference. The doctors are great, but the r

We were new to the neighbourhood, and one of our dog has a medical emergency. We managed to get an early appointment and our dog (Martin) was promptly seen to. As a dog owner of more than 10 years in Hong Kong and been to many vets (mostly due to moving to different neighbourhoods), I think Dr Hugh's team and Dr Hilda is one of the most competent vet/clinic that I have been to. No fear mongering, no judgement, just rationale discussion. I left the vet feeling that my dog's and my own well being are their priority. Martin did recover as predicted by Dr Hilda. I have no hesitation recommending this vet. I am not sure about the negative reviews on the nurses- I find them very sweet and very proactive in their work.

Took our dog there for the first time due to recommendations from other pet owners. General experience was good and Dr Hugh was pleasant to deal. The clinic itself presented clean. The waiting area is a little cramp. Opens on weekends which was helpful.
