About Playdot
Playdot is listed under parks, country parks & beaches in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai. The address is 18/F, Lee Garden Two, 28 Yun Ping Rd, Causeway Bay, Hong Kong Island. Below you will find what people usually look up before a visit: the exact location, contact details, opening hours and the Google rating. The address puts it on an upper floor of a building (an "upstairs shop", very common in Hong Kong), so note the floor and unit number; lifts can be slow at busy times, and some older buildings only have stairs.
About 40% of Hong Kong's land is country park or special area, and hiking trails run through every district. Before a hike or a beach day check the Hong Kong Observatory forecast and warnings, bring enough water, sun protection and a charged phone, and stay on the trail; the country parks ask visitors to take their litter home. In summer, avoid hiking at midday, carry plenty of water and take extra care when the Very Hot Weather Warning is in force.
Opening hours: Mon–Fri 14:00–18:30, Sat–Sun 11:00–18:30. It opens every day of the week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 2886 3900; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. More information is on its website, leegardens.com.hk.
It has a Google rating of 4.1 out of 5 from 14 reviews. Opinions are mixed but broadly steady, and the latest reviews are the best guide to what to expect.
Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Always nice to have a good time at Playdot

We visited this playhouse for the first time after a friend’s recommendation. You need points to redeem entry, and luckily Aurelia’s grandpa had plenty to spare—so we used them to get three tickets and check it out! The space is large and very clean, though there aren’t a ton of play options. Still, it’s a nice spot for kids to burn off some energy if you’ve got points and aren’t sure where to go. One cute detail: the diaper changing room has little stairs so kids can climb up themselves—very thoughtful! Just a heads-up: you’ll need to prebook before coming. We’re planning to invite more friends next time for a group playdate!

You can enter ONLY by redeeming points through Lee Garden app. It’s not very clear neither on the app nor online. Before coming you need to reserve a spot via the app: on the home page of the app scroll down to hyevents! Find Playdot in there and reserve your spot. Without reservation - they won’t let you in. On weekends you need to reserve at least 8h in advance - it gets full quickly. 1 ticket is for 1 child and only 1 accompanying adult, and costs 300 points. There is no cash price equivalent for the entrance. When you register in the app, they reward you with 500 points. You earn points by shopping/spending in any of Lee Gardens and Hysan. 1hkd spent = 1 point. To register a spending you need to take a clear picture of both payment receipts - one from the shop/restaurant and another from the cash machine. If you don’t get either of receipts - they won’t register a spending - it will be rejected. Minimum spending is 100hkd. Hope this helps!

Staff & management are not empathetic. Not aware that booking of slot and points redemption are required, request for a goodwill exemption to let my child go for merely a round but they strictly rejected. Not being self entitled here but we travelled almost the way there; and if only staff can be more flexible, empathetic and not so hard up with rules? It’s just a play area for kids to be happy. I’m sure I’m not asking for too much? Left the place with huge disappointment. Lee Garden, I’m sure you can do better than this.

place was big, spacious and clean. but not a lot to play with, and probably just suitable for kids 5 years and younger to play and run around.
