About 日本城 (威靈頓街店)
日本城 (威靈頓街店), a furniture and homewares shop in Central, Central and Western, is at 香港島中環威靈頓街128號. Before heading over it is worth checking the hours, phone number and Google rating below, so the trip is not wasted.
It pays to compare prices before you buy and to check that the price shown includes everything. Octopus, credit cards, FPS and e-wallets work in most shops, though small ones may be cash only or set a minimum for cards; weekend and public-holiday afternoons are busiest, so weekday daytime is better for a relaxed browse. Flats in Hong Kong are compact, so measure doors, the lift and the room before buying furniture, and ask about delivery and assembly charges.
Opening hours: Mon–Fri 08:30–21:00, Sat 09:30–21:00, Sun 09:30–21:30. It opens every day of the week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. You can call 2815 0434; a phone call is the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or how to get there. More information is on its website, japanhome.com.hk.
At 3.7 out of 5 on Google (102 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

This location has some decent deals on certain items, especially snacks and basic household essentials like sponges and disinfectant wipes. I was also surprised to find the soy milk that’s been hard to locate recently in local grocery stores. It’s a convenient place for picking up last-minute necessities, although I wouldn’t necessarily say it's great bargain. Service could be improved — whenever I ask for help locating items, I was usually just pointed in the general direction without much guidance. There is a self-checkout option, which helps since the queue can get quite long with only one cashier at times. Also worth noting there seems to be a minimum spend of around $200hkd for credit card use.

Should display a sign that prominently says, “No refunds, only trade-ins.”

A large JHC with all the household products you'll ever need, from cookware to kitchenware or cleaning products. Anti household insects and home gardening all in one. Also basic kitchen electric applicants as well. Occasional great deals on snacks and popular products including face masks. Place can be a bit packed and hard to get around

Place not large but all commodities could be found on the same floor. Quite convenient for shoppers from the wet market.
