About 商務印書館 銅鑼灣分館
商務印書館 銅鑼灣分館 is a bookshop and stationer in Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, at 香港島銅鑼灣怡和街9號. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.
It pays to compare prices before you buy and to check that the price shown includes everything. Octopus, credit cards, FPS and e-wallets work in most shops, though small ones may be cash only or set a minimum for cards; weekend and public-holiday afternoons are busiest, so weekday daytime is better for a relaxed browse.
Google lists the opening hours as daily, 11:00–21:00. It is open seven days a week. Arrangements may differ on public holidays, over Lunar New Year and when a typhoon signal No. 8 or above or a black rainstorm warning is in force, so call before making a special trip. Phone: 2890 8028. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. More information is on its website, supretail.com.hk.
At 3.9 out of 5 on Google (1,782 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.
Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Great stationary and book shop. I believe it's part of the JP books group. They have English books and some Japanese stationery. Also some good souvenirs. There are a few shops around Hong Kong, just check which one is closest to you. Well worth a visit, picked up some discounted items too, that were a real bargain.

A bit more expensive than buying online, but very convenient if you simply can't wait for delivery. They have all the most recent popular books plus extensive stationery range. I'll definitely be coming back the next time I get too involved in a series and need the next book asap. The staff are efficient and polite.

Have good selection of Chinese and English books. 3 floors。 Good to roam around in busy causeway bay.

They have a pretty good selection of English fiction books, but the more I go there, the more I realise how the staffs were really unhelpful and sometimes mean. Example: I was just browsing some books once and stood at a corner for about 10 minutes, a staff noticed me and told me to move as I was blocking other customers ( there was one other person there) so I moved. Following, around 5 more minutes later, I went up to the cashier and was about to pay when the same staff told my friend she couldn’t get the book as it was age inappropriate for her ( she was 16). So yea, I don’t usually do reviews but this just had to be talked about.

Nice collection of contemporary books. Number of Chinese and cantonese books dominate but the English books collection and diversity is very good. Not giving five stars because there is no place to sit and read for a while.
