Sham Shui Po is part of the Sham Shui Po District in Kowloon. Around Kwun Tong and Kowloon Bay many industrial buildings now house offices, restaurants, gyms and studios, while Kai Tak is a newer district. Kowloon's streets are busiest in the evening and at weekends, shops keep long hours with many open until about 22:00, and the Kwun Tong, Tsuen Wan and Tuen Ma lines plus buses and minibuses reach almost everywhere. Sham Shui Po is known for the electronics and second-hand stalls of Apliu Street and the fabric and button shops around Ki Lung Street and Yu Chau Street, where many older shops still prefer cash.

Excellent authentic hong Kong old style bakery... The "white-sugar" cake, banana cake and "wife" biscuits are my favorite 🥰🥰

Transitional Hong Kong style homemade snacks. Amazing that this kind of shop is still here serving the local. Good varieties, good price, good staff and food!

Bought 1 box (6pcs in a box) of glutinous rice peanut and coconut ball, wife biscuit, century egg biscuit and fried sesame ball(red bean filling). The glutinous rice ball skin was thin and soft however the peanut was not fragrant and there was a hint of shredded coconut flavour. I prefer without the shredded coconut. My friend liked the fried sesame red bean ball. The crust of the wife biscuit and century egg pastries were soft and not flaky. Sorry for the half eaten pastries picture. My friend ate half and these were the left over for me. 😂

This traditional pastry shop is a unique and charming establishment that offers a variety of traditional Chinese desserts and pastries. Despite its relatively small size, this shop has a reputation for serving the best rice dumplings in Hong Kong. What sets this shop apart from others is that it only offers take-out service and has a nostalgic décor. The shop has a vintage and quaint atmosphere, with a warm and inviting ambience. The walls are adorned with old-fashioned posters and traditional Chinese decorations, making customers feel as though they have stepped back in time. Despite its lack of seating, the shop remains popular due to its reputation for making the best rice dumplings in Hong Kong. The rice dumplings are made with high-quality ingredients and are famous for their delicious taste. The texture of the rice is soft and chewy, and the filling is sweet and flavorful. People come from all over Hong Kong to enjoy these delicious treats, and they are always impressed by the quality of the food. In addition to the delicious pastries, the service provided by the staff is exceptional. One of the employees is particularly noteworthy for his outstanding customer service. He
