wan chai office is closed!!!!

I received a letter from tax department for my tax and they have mentioned the phone number to call and settle any problem. I call on that phone number always shows busy and busy not systemic management of telephone enquiry like other government service have. The officer un knowingly mark up the tax on your letter as they think that the money is growing on tree. The lady said that I will contact the case officer within 2 days but it has been 2 weeks I didn’t receive any call from the officer. Also when you are connected on any call with the officer unfortunately the officer are not available on phone any time only they give the assistant talk to you or they will not directly talk to you as they think they are USA president they give their friend to talk to you. So badly experience in Hong Kong with the tax department.

Went this morning only to find out they've moved since last year but not updated on Google.. (I was away for the past few years, hence unaware of it) .. 😔 New address for IRD is now at Kai Tak

Slow and inefficient service. The building is old and run down. If you visit for any matters, be prepared to take a few hours to settle them.
