One of many HK style cafes in the area. The macaroni in borscht was delicious. I would definitely recommend their other signature dish, the scallion noodle in lard. I would avoid sitting in the corner above the AC unit, as there was some condensation dripping down.

4Bo is a fantastic Hong Kong-style café right in the heart of Causeway Bay that delivers exactly what you want from a cha chaan teng experience — tasty food, quick service, and reasonable prices. The food quality was surprisingly good for the price point. The dishes came out hot, flavorful, and well-portioned, with that comforting authentic Hong Kong café taste. Their milk tea and classic café-style dishes were especially satisfying. Service was impressively fast even during busy hours, which is a huge plus in a lively area like Causeway Bay. Staff were efficient and the turnaround time for food was quick without feeling rushed. Prices are also very affordable considering the central location. It’s a great spot for a casual meal, quick lunch, or late-night bite without overspending. Overall, 4Bo offers a solid balance of quality, speed, and value. Definitely worth visiting if you’re around Causeway Bay and craving authentic Hong Kong café food.

HK-Style fast casual restaurant is no-frills delicious Cantonese comfort foods, perfect quick pitstop breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea. This is a nicer version of this format but prices are reasonable and the food is about as good as it gets for this price level. The signature dishes are the thick cut pork chop with scallion sauce but note this is not available until after 11:30am. The pork patty rice and the beef chow fun were also fantastic. Must try.

Cha charn tian style restaurant. simple menu with a few options of instant noodles, pasta, clay pot rice etc. Went on a tuesday around 7:30pm and it wasnt too busy. We ordered a clay pot rice and a beef curry pot. clay pot rice: decent. very large portion size with lots of pork chops. beef curry: chinese style and very large portion size. A lot of beef and beef tendons as well as some potatoes. Goes really well with the rice (or you can pick pasta). Pretty good in taste, not too rich or salty. so this dish was part of the nightly special dishes that changes occasionally. What did confuse me was that, this dish was set number 3 on the list, where the list was directly under the daily soup (no price next to the soup so I dont think you can order the soup seperately) but the dish didnt come with the soup. so I think the soup was only for option no.1 and not any of the 3 options. Portion sizes are quite large and probably enough for 1.5 people. cannot pay with debit card I think but you can pay with octopus card.
