About 司徒立奇醫生

司徒立奇醫生 is a clinic in Wan Chai, at 香港島灣仔太原街38號號地下. Locals and visitors alike tend to check the same things before going, so this page brings together the practical details: where it is, how to get in touch, when it is open and how customers rate it.

Public general out-patient clinics can be booked through the Hospital Authority's HA Go app, while private clinics take bookings by phone or in person. Many clinics close or shorten their hours on Sundays and public holidays, and early evenings are busy; for emergencies go to an A&E department or call 999. This page is for reference only and is not medical advice. Many clinics take a break at midday and in the late afternoon, so check consultation hours before going.

Opening hours: Mon–Fri 09:00–19:00, Sat–Sun 09:00–12:00. It opens every day of the week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 2573 3001. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first.

At 3.5 out of 5 on Google (33 reviews), it sits mid-table; the written reviews say more about service, prices and waiting times than the number does.

Wan Chai is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Wan Chai mixes the office towers around the Convention and Exhibition Centre with old markets and tenement buildings, and nearby restaurants get busy during big trade fairs.

This is the worst clinic experience I’ve ever had in Hong Kong. The nurses allowed patients with later appointment times to see the doctor before me, despite knowing I had already been waiting for two hours. What’s even more outrageous is that when I confronted them, they lied outright to my face, insisting that I had heard wrongly. Only after I personally confirmed with the patient who went in ahead of me—whose appointment was indeed later than mine—did the nurse fall silent. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable, even by the most basic medical standards. I would strongly advise against patronising this clinic unless you want to subject yourself to a truly frustrating and horrific experience.

Be prepared to wait for a long time before you get to see the doctor. The time management of this clinic is awful. Doctor has a very weird diagnosis on me , won’t recommend . Also you won’t expect this old , broken clinic hidden in the alley to be so expensive. I barely write any review but writing this to warn anyone to think twice before going. DONT !

Terrible service - the nurse told me I could walk in, but when I arrived there’s no capacity at all after waiting for a full hour; An appointment was made the day after at 12, and the nurse only told me after waiting for another hour that the doctor hasn’t even arrived in the clinic and no visibility of when he will arrive. Very chaotic and messy in planning and expect to waste your time

I called to make an appointment at 11.30am. The clinic said the timing was okay, and did not advise otherwise. When I show up, I find out that the clinic assistants made my appointment for 12.30pm, stating that that’s the earliest they can make an appointment. They were terrible at managing clinic appointments and communicating with the doctor. Even with a 12.30pm appointment - they then said the doctor will likely only show up around 1.30pm. The doctor here is decent but would suggest to just schedule your appointment and be prepared to wait for 1-2 hours or show up late. The clinic assistants are really awful at dealing with patients. *Edit - doctor only arrived at 2.30pm. I waited 3 hours, during which the clinic assistants said “he’s coming back soon”.

Nothing about the doctor but just sharing my booking experience here. Info on insurance app and online said it opens till 7pm (even until 9pm with reservation) . I tried calling several time since 4:30pm to ensure I could get an appointment but no one picked up my call and when I walked in at 6:30pm, the three nurses just said the doctor would not see anymore patients when there were two people in the clinic. Trying to ask more details about the booking procedure but they shook their head and said no 🤣. Although their tones were nice, I just found that they were pretty unprofessional and were just trying to get off work soon? It could just be me who found these nurses a little lazy and weird.
