Noodle and congee shops, siu mei counters, fast-food places and snack shops are built for speed: most take no bookings, and at busy times you may queue or share a table. Siu mei and cart noodles are easy to take away, and some shops price by portion or by topping, so read the price list before ordering. Payment varies; Octopus is common, but some take cash only. Fast-food restaurants often have self-order kiosks and apps, which save queuing at busy times.

Opening hours: daily, 10:00–23:00. It is open seven days a week. Many small businesses close for a few days around Lunar New Year and may shut early or not open during typhoons and black rainstorms, so check the latest news before you set off. Phone: 5983 3149. Hong Kong numbers have eight digits; from abroad, dial +852 first. It is a mobile number, and many local businesses also answer enquiries on WhatsApp. More information is on its website, facebook.com.

Central is part of the Central and Western District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Central is Hong Kong's financial and business heart; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links the streets up the hill, Lan Kwai Fong and SoHo come alive at night, and the Central piers serve the Outlying Islands.

I went with friends today to take some take put, the menu was intriguing so we had a few options “shortlisted”, we asked the guy ( probably owner) about his recommendations and he started laying out their healthier options for pre-workout, then a few for post-workout…etc. we had our order placed and we kind of didn’t go with his recommendation. Not only our order was PERFECT, but the guy also threw in additional two large bowls of his choice for us to try as he thought we missed out on a different options from the menu, noting that our order wasn’t exactly big. He works in an open kitchen, gloves all the time, freshly prepared. Definitely good value for the money. Highly recommended. Also it is Halal certified.

I’d like to update my previous review, and I’m writing this honestly and with real concern. On Tuesday, June 9, between 12:00 PM and 12:30 PM, I decided to give the shop another chance. Unfortunately, I saw something that immediately made me worry about sanitation and food safety. The staff member appeared to be on a ladder “cleaning” or working on the shelves above food. What was especially alarming is that it looked like they were using a sprayer (I didn’t see the exact spray contents clearly, but it appeared to be can spray / spray cleaner). If that spray was oil-based, food-contact unsafe, or a chemical cleaner, it could pose a serious health hazard and could contaminate food or food surfaces. I didn’t see the exact spray being applied directly, but the situation still felt absolutely unacceptable and potentially dangerous. For the owners, please feel free to fact-check this using the time window I provided (June 9, 12:00–12:30 PM). I’m not posting this to exaggerate—I’m posting it because I’m genuinely concerned about hygiene practices in the store.

The meats are heavily marinated and very sweet! We got one beef and one chicken and they tasted exactly the same. Strange sauces on top that I have no idea what they could be after tasting it. Haven’t been so disappointed with a meal in a long time…

Great little place I discovered today. Fast, efficient, friendly staff, good coffee, for a great price. Tried the beef today and agree with the previous review...but what do you expect? Flavor is on point, nice presentation, and an overall quality, very affordable street food product. Definitely has my endorsement and it will become one of my regular $50 lunch go-tos for a wrap and iced coffee...

The beef wrap is highly recommended. Love it ! Although the beef is chewy , it contains all the flavor in the whole wrap. Spicy, sweetness , saltiness, a bit of a sour and onions are sweet. However, the chicken wrap is a bit oily. When you open the paper wrapper, the oil rushes out and makes a mess. I can taste the chicken bits with the skin. I like the beef wrap better.
