The stylist did not pay attention to my requests and barely listened at the beginning. He focused on checking my package (including whether hair color was included) rather than consulting me about the perm and my hair goals. He never explained what kind of perm he was going to do until after hours had passed. He cited my rebonding history with logic that didn't make sense-especially since rebonded ends had already been cut off. Even a two-times perm result (7 hours) had no visible effect and left my hair looking awful. The "fix" involved cutting more layers, making the shape even messier. Hidden costs were introduced after the damage, and blame was shifted onto me ("you should have paid extra for straightening your roots so that he could do a hot perm"). Actually I understand that the package involve either type of hair perm. Now, I need to hide my frizzy and messy hair with claws the all day long or hair bun. I wasted money and energy to destroy my hair just before my summer trip.

I visited this salon for the first time after buying a straighthening package from Klook. I have thick coarse curly frizzy hair that’s absolutely unmanageable in the humid HK weather. I also color my hair monthly to cover the gray. The salon is conveniently located near an MTR exit. Staffs were friendly and helpful. My stylist Oskar was very patient and knowledgeable. He gave me suggestions according to my hair type and lifestyle (I need something easy to maintain). He spent extra time and care making sure every strand of my hair was strengthened to perfection!! I spent almost 4 hrs there and it was totally worth it. I did pay for an upgrade and it was totally worth it. I walked away with the silkiest, shiniest hair of my life! Sorry I don’t have a before photo, but I took a picture of my hair this morning, after sleeping on it all night with no AC. Still silky and perfectly straight! Too bad I only come back to HK once a year, but I’ll sure to be back next year!
