At “Thai Simple Kitchen ”, bamboo rattan chandeliers, wooden tables and chairs, plant decorations, and Thai staff all contribute to the authentic Thai atmosphere. The food is excellent. I really like the ✨King Prawn Fried Noodle ($138). There are 2 large prawns in each serving, and they’re delicious. The pho noodles are smooth and not too greasy. Adding the fresh lime makes it refreshing – absolutely delicious! ✨️Pomelo Salad ($98): The pomelos are sweet and juicy, with cashews and green onions added for extra flavor. ✨️Spicy & Sour Prawn Soup ($92): The soup has a rich flavor, with prawns, lime leaves, coriander, and mushrooms. The spiciness is just right for most Hong Kong people. Overall, the food is great. ✨️Maly Sau Baby Cabba $125: This dish is truly delicious, with a savory and fragrant taste. ✨️Pineapple Juice + Mango Juice $60: Made from fresh fruits, these juices are sweet and refreshing. ✨Fresh Young Coconut $58: A whole fresh coconut with clear juice that tastes sweet and refreshing.

Located at the top floor of President Theatre (Causeway Bay MTR Exit D1), Thai Simple Kitchen is a fantastic find. It features a lovely Thai-style decor with a super chill outdoor terrace. Since the chefs and staff are all Thai, the food tastes incredibly authentic and traditional. 🥘 Spicy & Sour Prawn Soup : Rich, robust, and mildly spicy. It comes with a massive, plump river prawn that is thick, juicy, and packed with flavor. 🥗 Pomelo Salad: Refreshing and juicy pomelo chunks tossed with crunchy nuts. A perfect sweet-and-sour appetite starter. 🥬 Stir-Fried Morning Glory: Excellent wok-hei! The veggies stayed vibrant green and crunchy, coated in a deeply savory and aromatic Belacan sauce. 🦐 King Prawn Fried Noodle in Egg Net: A visual stunner. The flavorful noodles are wrapped in a delicate, golden egg net (like a Pad Thai "omurice"), topped with 2 huge, bouncy king prawns. 🍹 Drinks: "Fresh Pineapple Juice + Fresh Mango Juice" special drink and a "Fresh Young Coconut” were the perfect sweet, refreshing contrast to the spicy meal.

Amazing food and unbeatable terrace vibes at Thai Simple Kitchen! The Salty Fish Baby Cabbage was the ultimate MVP—packed with incredible wok-hei and smoky flavors. The Crab Meat Fried Rice was also outstanding, perfectly dry and loaded with a very generous amount of real crab meat. We also loved the refreshing kick of the Green Shredded Papaya Salad and the uniquely tangy, mildly spicy Chicken Coconut Soup. To top it off, the "Golden Dream" (fresh pineapple + mango juice) was pure, authentic fruit goodness, and the Thai Iced Tea was perfectly smooth. The outdoor terrace has a fantastic, chill atmosphere with great vibes, and they even thoughtfully provide fans and mosquito repellent. Highly recommended, but definitely book ahead for indoor seating!

The outdoor seating is amazing—super relaxing with a holiday feel. It’s perfect for a cocktail at night while enjoying the breeze. Definitely an Instagrammable gem that makes you forget you're in the heart of the city.What I love most is how authentic it is. From the chefs to the servers, everyone is Thai, making it feel like a mini-getaway to Bangkok. Food-wise, we tried the King Prawn Fried Noodles (Pad Thai) with the beautiful egg net—great "wok hei" and presentation! The Pomelo Salad was also incredibly fresh and tangy. Finishing off with a Fresh Young Coconut was the perfect way to cool down.If you’re looking to unwind with friends over good food and drinks, this is my personal recommendation. No flight ticket needed for these authentic Thai vibes!

There's a Thai restaurant upstairs from the President Theatre. The decor is full of traditional Thai style, with indoor and outdoor seating, perfect for chilling with friends over a cocktail. The food is quite authentic, and the chef and waiters are all Thai 🇹🇭 Tom Yum soup base was rich enough, with a good balance of sour and spicy. It had the aroma of lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves. The shrimp was quite fresh, and the portion was just right for two people. Royal Prawns with Egg Net Fried Rice Noodles - The egg net was beautifully made and presented exquisitely. Besides the two very flavorful stir-fried prawns on the side, there was also some shrimp meat and tofu inside. The taste was pretty good.
