Cantonese Chinese food restaurant - dishes were mostly greasy and oily except the steamed or poached Seafood 🦞. The service was mediocre except the manager Mr Chui -he’s very nice and would follow up. The other ladies in the room were poor in their service. They did not come to the table to clean up the plate or refill the teapot water.

Nice selection of live seafood. Dim sum seems premade. They do have special dim sum offers for afternoon tea. Enjoyed the seafood.

First time trying out the restaurant. Overall, the food is average. The best dish is the steam fish, which is also the most expensive item 😅. (Look at the before and after picture of the fish) The 烧肉 and 叉烧 are quite disappointing , the meat is very hard and difficult to chew. The Pumpkin and Yam hot pot is also badly done, hard, and too much milk.

Overheard that the booking is very full, I called and learnt that you have to pay in full two days ahead if you want to order take away roasted pig and goose. I did and had dinner there as well. Very glad that they offered set dinner with special discounts. Food service speed and quality were just so so, but price definitely reasonable. Given its convenient location, should not expect too much from it.

My experience with this Ho Choi was mostly positive. Their prices are very reasonable and their food are delicious. Service wise is of the typical Cantonese restaurants. The reason I do not give 5 stars is because there was a dessert dish that was really not up to par. But it doesn't stop me from going back again.
