Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

The decor is very nice. The staff efficient and polite. The food, not great. I had prawn pasta in Laksa sauce. There was a picture of a chilly on the menu, so I thought it would be a little spicy. There was a hint of flavour of anything resembling Laksa. It was pleasant not great. Very European in its taste. All those spices available but none that I could taste.

Another amazing visit to The Alchemist Cafe! This Causeway Bay spot is smaller and brighter than the dark, cozy Prince Edward branch, but I love both! The $448 set for two is great value and so yummy. We loved the appetizer nachos, the beef with mashed potatoes, the chicken spaghetti and the Häagen-Dazs dessert. The caramel chocolate and matcha chocolate drinks were incredible too! The staff are super friendly and attentive. Perfect place to fuel up before hitting all the shops nearby in CWB! ✨

We arrived in Causeway Bay at around 9:10 PM, but many restaurants had already stopped taking orders. When we saw that the alchemist cafe was still open and welcoming customers, we didn’t hesitate to go in. Sharing a single-person set meal plus an extra side dish was more than enough for two people. We had roasted chicken with broccoli, paired with a cup of fruit tea, and also ordered a side of sweet potato fries. The flavors were quite decent, and finding a proper dinner at that hour in Causeway Bay turned out to be more challenging than expected. We were grateful that they were still taking orders, providing a comforting meal for those finishing work late.

The decor was quite stylish and seats comfy. The creative coffee are mostly sweetened, and cannot be customized. Service was so-so. The food was okay, nothing really memorable in term of flavors, besides the veggies in the salad being exceptionally fresh and crunchy.

The shrimp salted egg pasta was Good. Karage Chicken with mayo mixed with light wasabi is Typical. Green curry chicken with rice is recommended. I had the Grass fed Beef Burger with kamote fries was Great too. Choco drink was a bit bitter, pear white peach fig cream cheese foam and cinnamon lemon tea were awesome. Yes, place was too close.. so you need to speak softly...
