Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The north shore of Hong Kong Island is one of the densest business areas in the city: the MTR Island Line runs from Kennedy Town to Chai Wan, the trams ("ding dings") between Kennedy Town and Shau Kei Wan, and many businesses trade from upper floors of office blocks and older tenement buildings. The south side is known for beaches, trails and fishing harbours such as Repulse Bay, Stanley and the Aberdeen typhoon shelter, which get busy at weekends and on public holidays. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

During my five days in Hong Kong, I came here almost every day for a mojito. It’s now my all-time favourite mojito—they make it here with plum wine. The staff is very friendly, sweet, and kind. There’s a friendly atmosphere in this small but very cozy bar. The bar menu is extensive, with a selection of cocktails, and you can also order a tasting of their Choya plum wine. They also serve snacks and meals, like food paring but we didn’t have time to try them. But I saw people enjoying the food! If you’re in Hong Kong, I highly recommend visiting!!!!

A lovely umeshu (plum wine) bar, as you may know from the brand name, Choya. Everything inside is themed with plum favour so if it's your thing, it's gonna be your dig~ The whole vibe of the bar is also very atmospheric and bordering on posh, just enough to give you that Japanese vibe. The food is very decent, only faulted by the mere fact that it has a limited menu. Cocktails are priced affordably, despite being in the heart of CWB, so no matter for food or drinks, still very recommendable for any umeshu lovers.

Great experience. Tried two “flights” tasting all Choya products. That was very nice! Would recommend definitely. Food was also great. Tried duck with ratatouille and well served. Choya official bottles available to buy. Awesome!

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting Choya Ginza Bar in Hong Kong. I tried two signature cocktails for just 78 HKD each. They were delightful. The dishes, including the risotto and bar snacks, were satisfactory and met expectations. Good for Happy Hour
