Causeway Bay is part of the Wan Chai District on Hong Kong Island. The island is steep, with many streets climbing the hillside; the Central–Mid-Levels escalator links Central with the Mid-Levels and the Peak Tram runs up to The Peak. Offices, malls and old neighbourhood shops sit side by side, restaurants are packed at the office lunch hour (roughly 13:00–14:00), and with parking scarce the MTR, tram or bus is usually easier than driving. Causeway Bay is packed with malls and department stores and is very crowded at weekends; nearby Victoria Park hosts the Lunar New Year fair.

Tuve was a great stay, it’s more of a not so typical hotel so if you’re looking for a place with a lounge area downstairs and a gym or any of these type of things maybe you should look elsewhere. The location is also more quiet and peaceful and not so busy. The hotel blends in with the surroundings and is hard to make out as a hotel when first looking for it. The lobby to check in is on the 1st floor so you have to go up one. They charged us a separate 500 HKD refundable deposit during check in and they can hold your bags for you if your room is not ready. The room is quite spacious and we just got a basic single bed room. The room had Le Labo products to use during your stay, which I wouldn’t expect from a hotel like this at the price point. The bathroom is like a frosted type of glass so you can kind of see the persons shadow when they are showering. Keep that in mind if you’re booking for friends

I am giving this hotel 5 stars, not because it’s a luxury 5-star establishment with a concierge, but because it is exceptional for its price point. It is a small, boutique hotel that feels incredibly cosy and offers everything you need without the hefty price tag. I stayed in the Deluxe King bedroom and especially loved the shower room—the water pressure is great, and they provide shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and even body lotion for this room type. The entire place was spotless and towels were provided. The receptionist was attentive and efficient; check-in and requests were handled very quickly. Note on Amenities: Keep in mind that toothbrushes, toothpaste, and bottled water are charged extra. However, the tap water is clean and safe to drink, so you can easily skip the extra cost. The location is a food lover's dream—the street is full of eateries serving everything from breakfast to late-night supper. Pro-Tip: The hotel is a 5-10 minute walk to the train station - Tim Hau 天后. If you are coming from the airport, take a taxi after the Airport Express. I don’t recommend switching to the MTR with luggage because the station has no lift, and a taxi is affordable enough to
